Back in 2000, a website called The Spark posted a unique science experiment called "The Stinky Meat Project" in which Mahlon Smith placed a plate of meat in his neighbor's yard, and returned daily to document it's "progress." He then proceed to move on to the next project "Stinky Meat 2"
Unfortunately, the site was purchased by Barnes and Noble in 2001, after which it lost it's "spark" he Stinky Meat projects were removed and eventually the whole site shut down in June 2004.
Recently I came across the Stinky Meat projects posted here: Stinky Meat These pictures are not for the faint of heart, but if you can get past that and read the commentary, it is hilariously funny!
